The Look of the Season

These are called "crop cardigans," "shoulder shrugs," or my favorite, "tied front cropped sweater cardigan."

I am amazed at the genius of the fashion industry. Now instead of just buying a long sleeved shirt you must buy two shirts, a "tied front cropped sweater cardigan,"* and a regular tank or T-shirt if you want to stay warm this winter.

And people say capitalism is evil...whatever. We have capitalism to thank for chopped up sweaters. Brillant.

*Priced at or above "regular ugly tied front non-cropped sweater cardigan."

Tessa, I have purchased the cropped cardigan. I have just submitted to the evils that are the fashion industry and capitalism. But Luckily, you don't worry about staying warm, it's 80 degrees outside now!

The evil of capitalism has never looked so good! I've added a cropped cardigan to my Christmas list.

Wow, not only are those things hideous, but buying into fashion perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society. What that cropped cardigan says is you are my friend if you look like me, but if you don't buy it, I'll know you aren't cool and not to associate with you. They are almost as bad as the "capri pants" fad . . . almost.

Screw economic and social differences, they accentuate the breasts. Promote them! Especially if worn as a solo top.
