My brother was accepted to Yale

Although Yale is his first choice, he told me he was thinking instead of going to Stanford because it's closer to home.

I told him to go to Yale. My heart was breaking knowing how far away he'd be next year but I had to do it. I never understood that saying that if you love someone, you have to let him/her go. It seems so messed up. But now I understand. He's all grown up. But he'll always be my baby brother.
