Cruising

Today I strolled the streets of LA with two car seats in my Kia Rio. This complimented my weekend of going into Target wearing black lycra stretch pants and an XL T-shirt to buy diapers, losing feeling in my arms as I tried to carry an 18 pound baby around with me for more than an hour, and a five am trip to LAX this morning to say goodbye to my sister and my nieces who were visiting from Hawaii. Mothers and Fathers of the world, I salute you. This weekend I realized that my sister isn't just my sis anymore but an amazing woman and mother. She's such a good mom that she won't embarrass her children by wearing spandex stretch pants to Target. That's the responsibility of all good aunts.
