But he's really a teddy bear. Even though my prayers of winning the lottery haven't been answered, God must really love me because I've had the best bosses in the world.

Congratulations! I've got one now, and it makes all the difference in the world. Two of my past bosses who were simply awful: my sister, and someone who later became one of my best friends. I could take the screaming and personal attacks as a management style (even if other employees couldn't). But when they did that and they were wrong, well now you just look like an idiot and I've lost all respect for you and I have to go work for someone else...
It is also important to be the best employee a boss can have...
